Yukichi Yamamatsu was “a 56-year-old out-of-work manga artist” looking for a way to make it big when he came up with the idea of selling Hindi translations of Manga books in India.
In 2004, Yamamatsu left Japan and traveled to India. He could speak little English, no Indian language and had never left his country.This book is his experience in India as he try to sell his manga any try to live and travel in India.
Yukichi Yamamatsu in his book has been very frank about India - sometime too bold - as he try to get a home on rent , visit a brothel , try to purchase sandals and the most troublesome communicate with locals. He get conned at first but became familiar with the art of bargaining .
